DOMOTEX - Surreal Uniqueness - GERMANY >
Limited Edition 2Tec2 and sophiegreen presented their tableau vivant 'Surreal Uniqueness' at Framing Trends, Domotex in Hannover, from 12 to 15 January 2018. Visitors of 'Surreal Uniqueness' step into a world of symmetry versus asymmetry, geometric versus amorphous shapes, a universe where nothing is what it seems. The result is an immersive trompe l'oeil effect, with a wink to the Dutch artist M.C. Escher.
The architectural elements of this tableau vivant are made by the 2Tec2 woven vinyl floorcovering. The light that responds to the flooring brings the space to life due to the ever changing colour shades. The tufted rugs of Limited Edition add emotion, warmth and an extra alienating dimension to this surreal tableau vivant.
